Starting over…. AGAIN!
This is my second attempt, heck maybe third, to start a blog. Life happens! My previous blogs have long disappeared with the revamping of my websites. This year I migrated over to Squarespace.com. So far, I am enjoying it very much. I don’t know why I waited so long to change website companies. I guess I had high hopes for the other company. But after many years of waiting for them to improve and failing to do so, I had to cut ties. So since I am starting over again, we might as well start with some introductions.
Who am I? Why am I here? What am I going to write about? Did I really wear these pants in public today?
Why a blog?
Yes, why the hell a blog? There are millions of them out there. I come across them usually when I’m scrolling through Pinterest. You know what a rabbit hole that is to fall through late at night in bed, looking for ideas of your dream office that is completely organized and void of paper. Well, I have alot of fun doing photography and my photo shoots sometimes get crazy. I also get to collaborate with some really amazing people in the business. Perhaps I will share what goes on behind the making of images and all the shenanigans of getting the final image.
Also, I recently purchased my dream van, a 2024 Mercedes Revel named “Tater”. Outside of my commercial photography business, I love to travel, create fine art, and fly my drone. Perhaps I will entertain the masses with my travels.
Lastly, I will try a blog again, because I can! All kidding aside, this is weird to me. Is anybody going to read this? Does anybody care? Ok, my Mom and my dog Riley. Riley is a 10 pound fluffy pomeranian who is sitting on my lap while I type. He is annoyed already, I can tell.
I’ve been in this business for a very long time. Some days are hard, most are fun. I"‘m hoping this journal of sorts may help me to be more creative. Maybe it will initiate a new creative process or idea. Maybe it is a waste of time and not a good reason to be missing my gym workout. Who knows! Stay tuned. Cheers!
